Yellow Woven Heart Ornament (Small)

£20.00

Yellow Woven Heart Ornament (L: 10cm x H: 9.5cm) - Chiapas, Mexico

Handwoven in Chichicastle, San Andrés Larráinzar by Ernestina, this small cotton heart ornament is rooted in the telar de cintura weaving tradition of Chiapas. Each piece takes around two days to complete and features carefully woven patterns with hand-finished tassels — a reflection of the skill and time involved in its making.

In Chiapas, weaving is carried out primarily by women, who use their craft to support their households and work as independent makers. Each heart by Ernestina is a small part of that story.

Use it as a bag charm or accessory, or hang it at home on a door handle, hook or wall for a pop of colour and texture.

Please note: as each piece is handmade, measurements may vary slightly.
