Shipping and Returns
Thanks for shopping with Rooted in Mexico! We’re so happy you’ve chosen to support our mission with your purchase. Here’s everything you need to know about shipping:
Shipping From
All our pieces are handcrafted in Mexico and shipped from our UK warehouse — aka my living room (ha!)
Processing Time
We process orders Monday to Friday, excluding public holidays. Please allow up to 3 business days for your order to be packed and on its way — we always aim to get it out to you as quickly as possible.
Shipping Rates and Delivery Estimates
We offer a flat rate of £4.95 for Standard Delivery within the UK (48-hour tracked), with free shipping on all orders over £50.
You can also choose Express Shipping (24-hour tracked) for £8.95 if you'd like your piece of México to arrive a little sooner.
For international orders, please get in touch with us so we can arrange delivery and calculate shipping accordingly. Just email us at constanza@rootedinmexico.org

Shipping Confirmation and Tracking
Once your order has shipped, you'll receive a shipping confirmation email that includes your tracking number. You can use this number to track the progress of your delivery.
Customs, Duties and Taxes (International Orders)
For international orders, please note that you may be subject to import duties, taxes and customs fees once your package reaches your country. These charges are not included in the item price or shipping cost and are the responsibility of the customer. Rooted in Mexico is not responsible for any duties and taxes applied to your order. We recommend checking with your local customs office for more information before placing your order.
Damaged or Lost Packages
If your order arrives damaged, or if you think your package might be lost, please contact us right away at constanza@rootedinmexico.org with your order number and a few details. We’ll do our best to resolve the situation.
Can I return my item?
We hope you’ll love your piece so much there’s no way you’d want to return it! Each item is handmade and truly one of a kind. But if for any reason you’d like to return your purchase, please contact us within 7 days of receiving it. Items must be unused and in their original condition and return shipping costs will be the customer’s responsibility.
At Rooted in Mexico, we keep our packaging minimal and planet-friendly — recyclable, reusable, and never wasteful. Where possible, we combine items into one parcel and repurpose boxes we already have, so don't be surprised if yours arrives in something a little quirky.
