Proud of where we come from, proud of our people, and proud to share their art and stories with the world.

Now more than ever, we need beauty, soul and connection in our lives.

We live in a world where we are often disconnected from where things come from and from the hands that make them. Rooted in Mexico exists so you can experience the richness of Mexican culture and meet the people who keep it alive — artisans who have carried their crafts and traditions since pre-Hispanic times.

We are proud of our roots and of the richness of being Mexican. Every piece we share carries stories, heart and heritage — inviting you to celebrate culture, honour craftsmanship and keep these roots alive.

At Rooted in Mexico, we work directly with artisans, honouring their knowledge and traditions. Every piece is handmade with care, rooted in practices that stand apart from the impersonal world of factories and assembly lines. We bring only small batches, never mass production, because true craftsmanship takes time.

Each creation carries the unique essence, soul and story of its maker. No two are ever alike. Our artisans come from communities across Mexico, each showcasing their culture, heritage and ancestral techniques.

We believe in fair and transparent collaborations. Artisans are paid directly and fairly for their work, reflecting the true value of their craft. Every order, no matter how small, helps sustain families, preserve ancestral techniques and keep cultural roots alive. Rooted in Mexico exists to support artisans, celebrate culture and build genuine relationships. For us, the connection with our makers is at the heart of everything we do.

When you choose Rooted in Mexico, you are not only bringing beauty into your life — you are making a meaningful impact in the lives of the artisans who create with heart, while honouring the generations of wisdom that brought them here. On each product page, you’ll find a short bio about the maker, because we believe their voices and stories deserve to be celebrated just as much as their art.
