Proud of where we come from, proud of our people, and proud to share their art and stories with the world.

At a time when Mexican identity is too often diminished or dismissed, we're here to celebrate it — unapologetically and with pride.

We live in a world that often feels disconnected — from where things come from, and from the hands that make them. Rooted in Mexico exists to change that. Through each piece, we invite you to experience the richness of Mexican culture and to meet the artisans who keep it alive — people who have carried their crafts and traditions for generations, some since pre-Hispanic times.

Every piece we share carries stories, heart and heritage — an invitation to honour the culture and the hands that made it.

The Rooted Way

At Rooted in Mexico, we work directly with artisans, respecting their knowledge and the traditions they carry. Every piece is handmade, rooted in practices that have nothing to do with factories or assembly lines. We bring small batches only, because real craftsmanship takes time and we're not interested in rushing it.

Each piece is the work of a specific person, from a specific place. No two are ever alike. Our artisans come from communities across Mexico, each with their own culture, heritage and techniques — some reaching back to pre-Hispanic times.

We pay artisans what they charge. They set the price for their work and we don't ask them to lower it. Every order helps sustain families and keep these crafts going.

In our 'Meet the Artisans' section, you'll find their stories, because we believe their voices deserve to be celebrated just as much as their art.

Connection Over Consumption

More than objects, these pieces are bridges - linking artisans and their stories with people who value meaning in what they bring into their lives.

Direct & Respectful

We work directly with every artisan, pay what they charge, and never ask them to lower their price. You'll find the full story behind each piece — who made it, where, and how..
