Otomí Beaded Sunflower Necklace – Yellow – San Pablito, Puebla

Handcrafted by Moisés in San Pablito, Puebla, this sunflower necklace is made from chaquira beads and plastic string, woven in the Otomí style — the heritage and language his family proudly preserves.

Flowers are one of the most beloved motifs in Otomí beadwork, rooted in a deep connection to nature that runs through the tradition. This sunflower, with its layered yellow petals, deep burgundy centre and tiny white bead details, is a beautiful example of that. Every bead is placed by hand across three careful steps, with each necklace taking between four to eight hours to complete.

Each necklace is a tribute to Mexican craftsmanship, passed down through generations.
